Jim gave hand written notes to Steve Plume. Steve had Cynthia eMail photos of them to me.  Then Mike Wacker's lovely assistant, Jan, was nice enough to type them up.

Pres. Ravi Saip called the meeting to order.  He asked
Mike Wacker to lead the salute to the flag, which he did.  Then Pres. Ravi  lead Rotarians in “God Bless America.” himself.  For the Invocation, Pres. Ravi called on Rev. Jim Patterson.

Tuesday November 1, 2016: We meet at the Patrick Ranch. Spouses, significant others and friends are welcome. Jan Holman will share the recent construction projects and the future plans for the Patrick Ranch.

 

Tuesday, November 8, 2016 (Election Day): We meet at Original Pete's located on Carmichael Dr. and Park Avenue.

 

RECOGNITIONS
 

Mike Wacker: $50 for an anniversary and travel.

 

Roy Ellis: $10 for erroneously and previously stating he was celebrating his 23rd anniversary. Jan correctly reminded him on the way home it was their 22nd anniversary.

 

Len Foreman: $7.00 for his 64th birthday. The song was somewhat ragged.

 

CONTRIBUTION

 

Jim Patterson: $26.00 to Rotary Foundation.

 

Program

 

Megan Malory and Eileen Franco-Brooks of the Butte County office of Education presented the mentoring program for homeless and foster children unique to this area. It is the only such program in the state. The program give hope and help to those who otherwise might remain hopeless and feeling helpless.
