Many thanks to Steve Plume for taking and delivering the meeting notes.

Because BCCC is a polling place and not available to Rotary, the meeting was conducted at Pete’s Restaurant.

Ravi Saip called the meeting to order. Stephen Plume led the Pledge of Allegiance. My Country Tis of Thee was sung by the club members. Jim Patterson gave the invocation.

Ravi reported that he had received an email from Rebecca, District 5160 Interact Chair, requesting a $50.00 contribution from each club. The money is needed and will be used to facilitate Interact district meeting. A motion to authorize the donation was made and seconded. It was approved by unanimous vote.

Jim Kirks has returned from a cruise on a Holland- America liner. He saw beautiful beaches in Columbia, transited the Panama Canal slowly. It visited Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Antigua and Mexico. Cabo San Lucas was his favorite stop. He has 100’s of pictures and hopefully will share them soon. Ravi offered to recognize Jim for the trip but was declined because Jim had pre-recognized himself before leaving.
