Steve Plume admitted to having his 21st anniversary and so contributed $21.00.

Steven Heithecker contributed $10 for missing the Christmas Party meeting.

Eric Hoiland contributed $20.00 for missing the Christmas Party Meeting when his parents were there.

Robert Olea missed several meetings.  He volunteered $100.00 to become a Bell Ringer.

John Moss also missed the Christmas Party meeting.  He said it was because his twin was having a birthday.

Jen Liu recognized President Dave in the amount of $50.00 for also missing the Christmas Party Meeting.  Dave said that he stayed home to save us all from the flu so all of us should contribute $10.  That didn’t fly.

Must Be Present to Win Drawing:

Chris Hatch drew Jen Liu’s name.  He was present to win.

Chris Hatch led a general discussion of the Crab Feed.  Chris noted that it was our 16th Crab Feed.  This year the Board has determined that the proceeds of the Silent Auction will go to Camp Fire victims.  Larry Bradley has distributed most of the tickets. If you need any, contact Larry.

Rotary Foundation receives highest rating from Charity Navigator for 11th year

By Rotary International

For the 11th consecutive year, The Rotary Foundation has received the highest rating — four stars — from Charity Navigator, an independent evaluator of charities in the U.S.

The Foundation earned the recognition for demonstrating both strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency.

“We are extremely honored to be recognized,” says Foundation Trustee Chair Ron Burton. “It represents the hard work and dedication of countless Rotarians throughout the world.  They know their gifts will be used for the purpose for which they were given and that they will, indeed, make a real difference.”

The rating reflects Charity Navigator's assessment of how the Foundation uses donations, sustains its programs and services, and practices good governance and openness.
