This was The Harvest Festival !!! May thanks to members from Chico, Chico Sunrise and Paradise Clubs who came to support us !!!!

This was the 44^th Annual Harvest Festival which, for members, began at 6:00 am.  And we succeeded without the Captain Bob

Following its conclusion late in the afternoon, we received the following message from President Glenn:

“I am so tired (and I know I'm not alone) but I had to say a quick word of thanks. This was an exceptional Harvest Festival! Despite many obstacles, we pulled together and made this one of the best Harvest Festivals ever.  I have more to say, but maybe tomorrow. For now, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!!!!!!!!”

Your editor does not know the final results financially, but we did run out of hamburger buns and barbeque sauce.  My report in this Rowel is in the photos below.

Next Meeting

The next regular meeting will be September 26^th at the BCCC.  Steve Heithecker will be in charge, but it will be a review of the Harvest Festival.

Membership

Bring guests who you think you can interest in becoming a member.  Think of business owners or managers to bring.  Your dinner and your guest’s dinner will be paid for by the Club.  Also, bring a guest to one of our occasional social gatherings
